The MSPA Americas CXE³ Conference is intended for provider companies and vendors who provide goods and/or services to provider companies. If you are looking for education, networking and fun with key decision makers in the industry, then CXE³ is the conference for you!

The conference registration fee includes the cost of attendance at all general and concurrent sessions, networking and social functions on Wednesday night. The Thursday evening social function is at an additional cost.

Registration Payment

Registrations must be received no later than 5:00 pm ET on October 5, 2018. After that time all registrations must be made onsite. No registration will be processed without proper payment. After your registration has been processed, you will receive an automatic confirmation email.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations submitted in writing to MSPA Americas by September 30, 2018, will be refunded, less a $75 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after this date. “No shows” will be charged at the full conference rate. All refunds will be processed after the completion of the conference.

Get all in at CXE3! Join us on October 11th for a Dinner Cruise and Casino Night. MSPA Americas has rented a private charter on the Nautica Queen and we will dine, dance and enjoy gaming together. Each attendee will be offered play money to take their chances at the hold 'em and blackjack tables.
 
Trolleys will leave the hotel starting at 6:00 p.m. and we will begin our cruise at 6:30 p.m. The cruise will be two-and-a-half hours on is based on weather and river traffic. The route is determined on the day of the cruise and will either be on Lake Erie, stay within the break wall or cruise on the Cuyahoga River.
 
Guests are welcome to join us and the price is $90 per person. Ticket includes transportation to/from The Queen, the dinner cruise and gaming opportunity.

GDPR-mania has arrived! With the new European Union (EU) law taking effect on May 25, 2018, the Internet will never be quite the same. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation that now formally requires businesses to protect the personal data and privacy of EU citizens for transactions that occur within EU member states. Non-compliance could cost companies dearly, but it’s not just an issue for MSPA companies doing business overseas. U.S. Senators, Amy Klobuchar and John Kennedy, are among those said to be drafting plans for a new GDPR-style bill that will give individuals recourse options if their data is breached, the right to opt out of data tracking, a requirement for terms of service agreements to be written in plain language and the ability for individuals to obtain greater control over their own data.  Get a better understanding of the current European law that they are modeling this under and an inside look as to how GDPR is impacting MSPA Europe/Africa companies already.

Rob Bleile, Partner and CFO of Research Metrics, Co-Founder of Research Metrics established in 2004. Initially, Rob served as the company's Chief Technology Architect for 8 years; stepping away from day to day operations in 2012, yet remained intimately involved on planning the company’s growth strategies. In 2016, Rob rejoined the company as CFO, including oversight responsibilities on the US operations. Rob is an entrepreneur, with over 20 years' experience in the fields of Information Technology and Data management. In addition to serving as CFO of Research Metrics, Rob is President of American Timber and Steel, a multi-state manufacturer with facilities located in Ohio and Texas, employs over 100 personnel, servicing customers nationwide.
 
Rob earned his BBA in Information Systems and MBA from the University of Toledo. In 2016, Rob was honored by the University for his entrepreneurial spirit and service to the University by receiving the prestigious Ed Schmidt Young Alumni of the year award. He has been recognized and nominated as one of the region’s top ‘Under-40’ young executives. Rob currently serves as the President of The University of Toledo Alumni Association and remains actively involved with other community activities.

Liz Boone brings 20 years of healthcare foodservice to Corporate Dining, Inc.  She spent the last 11 years as the Executive Director of Nutrition Services at Aultman Health Foundation in Canton, Ohio; where she was responsible for an 804-bed acute care inner-city hospital.  Prior to this, Liz was the Director of Nutrition Services for University Hospitals Bedford Medical Center and spent a number of years as a food service manager in long-term care facilities. Liz received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition from Ohio University and MBA Health Care Administration from Regis University.  Liz has received the Presidential Special Service Award for Benchmarking from the Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF); where she was the Benchmarking Chairman for more than three years and a speaker on benchmarking at the annual conferences.

Erik Brooks is the Vice President of Product Development and Engineering at Research Metrics. Erik provides leadership for Research Metrics' constantly evolving suite of technologies, including the Shopmetrics mystery shopping and market research system, the GigSpot and MobiAudit mobile scheduling and online/offline data collection apps, the Mobalytics reporting mobile app, and the Surveo survey platform. For over 20 years his technical leadership and constant innovation has pushed the industry’s technology forward. He plays a key role in Research Metrics’ ISO certifications and is an industry expert in the areas of compliance, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

With a strong IT, legal and now dining background, Barbara has the expertise and national recognition in developing benchmarking data exchanges for both corporate and campus dining markets. As a Business Intelligence Project Manager, Barbara develops technology tools to transform raw data into useful and meaningful information. She is developing a variety of interactive dashboards to provide clients with an organized and quick way to view their data. Barbara is also responsible for the FoodWrite program and has conducted a variety of surveys to assist leadership in gathering key data regarding their dining services. Barbara has directed annual trade association benchmarking, original research projects, conducts RFPs, and has worked on customer satisfaction, leadership, and benchmarking surveys and programs with companies such as Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Association for Healthcare Foodservice, Halliburton, Wachovia, Sprint and Google.

Maria Del Monaco is an attorney with the Federal Trade Commission’s East Central Regional Office in Cleveland, Ohio. She has worked on cases involving small business scams, foreclosure rescue schemes, and violations of the Disposal, Safeguards, and Privacy Rules and participates in outreach events to underserved populations and businesses. Before joining the FTC, Maria was a partner with Ulmer & Berne LLP, served as an Assistant Attorney General in the State of New York, and was a law clerk for a federal judge. Maria earned her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Tufts University.

Ericka Dilworth is the Director of Operations at Better Business Bureau serving Greater Cleveland. She received her B.A. at Baldwin Wallace College. During her 19 years career with Cleveland BBB, Ericka has worked in many different capacities. She was promoted to her current position in 2015. As a trained mediator, Ericka enjoys the challenge of resolving a difficult complaint. She currently resides in Independence with her husband, son and their two dogs.

Meera Rosser’s hospitality career spans over 27 years as a casino marketing pioneer. Since 2001, Meera has served as Corporate Director of Marketing for Jacobs Entertainment Inc., headquartered in Golden, CO, where she oversees the brand management, loyalty programs and service culture strategies for six casinos in Colorado and Nevada. Additionally, she has led the company’s customer service operations and employee advocacy efforts for their numerous casino, hotel and restaurant expansions. Prior to settling in Colorado, Meera spearheaded the marketing for casino start-up ventures with Harrah’s and Pinnacle Entertainment. Meera’s career began as a system trainer and event specialist, after receiving her BA in Organizational Development and BS in Business Management from the University of Maryland.

She has worked as a mystery shopping service provider at senior level since 2000, having previously earned a strong reputation for expertise in the Customer Experience arena whilst working in varied and challenging roles for blue chip retailers. Over the past 20 years, Jill’s core objective has been to raise the profile of customer service in the business. It is a testament to her passion and commitment for the subject that the companies Jill has worked for, and in partnership with, now place customer service at the very top of their boardroom agenda. Her more recent work focuses largely on the engagement and education of frontline workers. By raising the level of understanding that the frontline has – and providing clear leadership and direction relating to individual and team goals – a more engaged workforce has evolved, as well as a clear movement from a ‘task-focused’ to ‘customer-centric’ work ethic. Of specific interest at board level, the work also identified clear correlations between higher engagement levels and stronger sales performance across the client organizations that Jill worked with during this study. Andy Walker is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Prism Intelligence and iSecretShop. The company was founded nine years ago and has evolved into a full-spectrum data collection platform managing mystery shopping, corporate audit, survey, market research, opinion polling, price audit and social media management initiatives. Prior to software, Andrew spent 17 years in the banking industry leading various teams and divisions including wealth management, business banking and training and development. The conference attire is business casual. Meeting rooms may feel cool to some attendees, so a light jacket or sweater is recommended.

Distribution of Publications and Promotional Materials
Distribution of brochures, fact sheets, advertising, industry publications and promotional materials is not allowed during the conference except for companies participating in the official conference sponsorship program. Distribution of these materials by sponsors is allowed only within the guidelines of the sponsorship program.

Scheduling Non-­MSPA Americas Functions
Events that conflict with official MSPA Americas events or educational programming are not allowed during the conference. This includes hospitality suites, special breakfasts, focus groups or similar events.
